Back at Home!

We are so glad to finally be home for a few days. Most of all we are thankful to God for Him allowing us to make the trip and keeping us safe on our journey. He is such a great God and we sure do love Him!
I am sorry that I did not post during the week but we were on the RV without any Internet or Phone service. We had our cell with us but because we were "roaming" we tried to keep the phone calls to a minimum. My how we miss those modern technologies when we don't have them.
We had a wonderful time with our friends up in Michigan last weekend. Although, there was no snow for us to play in the temperature there seemed a lot cooler than what we have here in Alabama. Ha ha!
NQC was a blast! This was our first trip to NQC and we certainly were honored to be a part of the event. I have to tip my hat to all of the guys that work so hard to pull it off--they did a wonderful job! It is always wonderful when you can spend some time with your friends who travel the road just as we do and share all of the stories of "road life." We also want to thank the Eddie Crook Co, for allowing us to be part of ECC tea party and showcase. We love everyone of you and are so thankful to have your support!
We ended the trip with our friends in Greeneville and Piney Flats, TN. Wow, what services we had! It is always great to be able to see the Lord working in lives and know that all of the miles that we travel are worth every penny that the gas cost!
We will be home for two days and then hit the road again to head back up to North Georgia. Then Sunday through Wednesday of the following week we will be in Barnesville, GA for a four day revival. Please be in prayer for those services.
We hope to see you all soon! May God Bless!

Thanks & Prayer Request

I would like to thank all of you for your unending support of THM. There is not a day that passes that someone does not email or call us just to let us know that they are praying for us. There has been several this week to call or email to question if we are going to make the trips that we have scheduled for the next few weeks. As for this moment the answer is YES! Terry and I have both prayed for the past few weeks for Gods direction on this matter and at this time neither of us feel a peace about "giving up." The enemy would be most happy to see this rise in gas prices stop the children of God.
We do ask that you will pray for us as we make this trip. In total it will be about 1753 miles. Please also pray for a protective hedge about us and our RV as we go. We love you all and hope to see you all soon!

PS Yes the baby is doing fine. Our little son will be here in about 18 weeks and we can't wait!!!

Jessica & Baby Update

This past Monday Jessica started feeling sharp pains in her lower chest region just above where the baby is positioned. She was in pain on and off all day long. Then on Tuesday it got a little worse as she was sick and in pain all day long. Wednesday morning she was in extensive pain so we called the doctor to see what the problem may be. He said to bring her in as soon as possible for a check-up, so we did just that. After checking Jessica and the baby, the doctor said everything looks normal with the baby but Jessica has acid reflux which is the cause for the sharp pains in the lower chest area and high blood pressure. He prescribed her medications for both and she seems to be doing a little better. Please continue to keep Mom and Baby both in your prayers.

On another note:
Originally the doctor said he was 75% sure that we were having a little girl. Because the umbilical cord was stretched between the legs he could not be 100% sure. However, during the check-up he double checked to assure us the sex of the baby and he said, "I am as sure as I can be." You are having a boy! So this time it is a boy...LOL! (We really won't know until delivery because he likes playing hide n' seek.) We will keep you updated as more information becomes available to us.

May God Bless You ALL!

GOD'S GOT EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL!!!

Hello Friends,

Over the past couple of days, I am sure you have heard all of the concerns about gas prices. This situation really puts a hurt on ministries like THM. With gas prices rising to $3.00 per gallon it makes it tough to travel as much as we do. However, I am standing on the promises of God's Word! I can't remember exactly where it is, but the Bible says, "But God, who is faithul will not suffer us above that which ye are able."
It is my heart's desire to see others come to know Jesus before He returns. I believe if we will stay faithful to Him and share the Love of God and His Goodness with others, His Word will not return void.

As I started to work this morning I decided to drive our Maxima instead of our SUV because it is cheaper on gas and it was nearly on empty too. As I pulled up to the pump I noticed an older lady having problems pumping her gas so I helped her. She thanked me and we shared a few words about how good God is. In front of me was another gentleman with a 55 gallon barrell on the back of his truck. He was getting ready to fill that barrell up with gas when another man told him not to be greedy that other folks need gas as well and if his truck was full that should be plenty. They were still arguing as I left. When I got back on the road I remembered the words to an old song that I would like to share with you:

GOD'S GOT EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL

We read in the paper another earthquake's tore the land,
And famine is out of control;
There's fighting and dying and sin on every hand,
And where it is the mind's of men just don't know.

God's got everything under conrol,
He's still God and He's in charge of His own,
I can sleep just like a baby, I've got peace down in my soul;
And God's got everything under control.

Now your mountain's may be dark,
And your valley's oh so low,
You've come to the end of your road;
Just look up to Jesus, He is standing cose by,
And He's got everything under control.

This was a great refreshing to me as I finally got to work and realized that God is God. This world may change, people may change, gas prices may increase, but GOD'S GOT EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL and HE never will change! Through all the arguing and fighting over things that are only temporary GOD'S GOT EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL! Well the song sums it all up. God knows exactly what it takes to show this world that He is in control but the sad thing is, not everyone realizes that He is. He said, "I am God and I change not." God is more powerful than the oil reserves, the gasoline, the hurricanes, the tornadoes, the politicians including Mayors, Governors, and the President! He is the controller and when we realize that it is all about HIM and not about us then we can be used greatfully by HIM to bring others into HIS Kingdom.

There is no need to worry because, "GOD'S GOT EVERYTHING UNDER CONTROL."

Pray for Jessica and I as we continue to do exactly what God has called us to do. We know that God has called us into this and gas prices, nor height nor depth can stop us from doing HIS will for our life.

Thanks in advance for your prayers and support!
